MTN lists closed account on credit bureau
I closed my MTN cellphone contract account last year. Problem MTN did not update the credit bureau accordingly.
It still show on my credit profile that my acount is active and there is a balance of R55.
Why?
What are you going to do about it?

Please note that communication was sent to your e-mail on the 28th November 2018 that the contract was cancelled as requested, and last payment is the November invoice.
Please also note that the November invoice was already out when the cancellation was done.

There is nothing outstanding. I personally confirmed this with the consultant who helped me close the account. See the previous hellopeter.com complaints for how long I struggled to close this account.... when I requested and instructed the account to be closed I was given the confirmation that the account was paid up and would be closed. I got this confirmation in writing. So go and make sure of your facts. I want this account off the credit buro ASAP....
Otherwise further action will be taken.

07 May 2019, 09:31Went to the MTN shop. Wouldn't take my payment. Says I owe nothing account is closed. Why does this still cloud my credit profile on ITC. This matter is now getting seriously irritating.
I don't have a problem taking a giant company like MTN to court.
