MTN = **********s- DO NOT BUY anything from them!

I recently wrote a report on their terrible service their lying staff and them passing the buck from the customer car manager to a store manager. I had a lovely response saying they would contact me on HelloPeter, which never happened, this is the level of their so called service, apparently MTN needs money for their staff, that means that they ***** if from their customers. Rather go to Vodacom, at least they won't rip you off. Reference numbers for their ******** is as follows: REF REQ : *** *** [#***3] *** [#***9]

Hello hirenk,

Thank you for posting.

I do know how frustrating this can be, do note that our management teams are aware of this and due to the current protest action being experienced there is delays in our customer touch points.

According to our records you have been in contact with our consultants and they have explained that the contract you took was Broadband 500mb @ R199.00 with a Sony Experia Tablet signed on the 12/06/2013, was not a Top-up contract.
In March we had sent notification to our customers about the Priceplan increases.

The April invoice was R560.28 your usage was 1gb which exceeded the 500mb allocated which amounted to R316.16.
Payment of R199.00 was received and R759.28 was outstanding.
May's invoice is R961.81 your usage was 1.74gb which amounted to R576.26 payment was received for R560.28 with R961.81, the current amount for June is R49.00 and the amount R1 010.81.

I hope the above is in order and would once again like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Regards
Jean
