MTN Lephalale

I have been using MTN for the last 10+ years. I moved to Lephalale in Februarie 2017. During the last 18 months I have visited the store in the Lephalale mall several times. With almost every visit I am promised a speedy answer. This almost never happens. I have taken this up with management and on one occasion with the area manager. She promised me a answer and would call me back. This also did not happen!

During June 2018 MTN south africa mistakenly deducted R10 000-00 from my bank account because I Migrated. I never migrated. After this my debit order was changed to a cash account. I have asked the store manager to re-instate the debit order on several visits and calls. Everytime I was told that he was waiting for e-hub. On my latest visit on Thuesday 7 August 2018 I once again visited the shop whereupon I was told he could not log in to the server and that he would phone me back. He said he would come back to me on three queries I had namely: Unusual amount on my account, the reinstatement of my debitorder wrongly cancelled as well as the date of upgrade on my accounts

Today is 9 August 2018. No call was made to me. I lost my patience and phoned MTN on the 137 number. Mfundo Mthethwa answered my call and not only did he listen very patiently to my frustration but he also attended to all my queries and reinstated the debit order, helped me to the query about the unusual amount on my account, helped me to explane the loss of internet in my area but also advised me on my upgrade date on my accounts with MTN.

If not for Mfundo I would be very unsatisfied with MTN. It seems though that my problem is with the said MTN branch and not with MTN. Thank you Mfundo.

Thank you for your post.

Please see the feedback regarding early termination fee charged on the account.

Good day, your MTNSP query reference: *** A credit request of (R4140.72) excl vat for deactivated dual sim (ETF) charges have been sent through for approval for cell no: ***) for invoice/s date/d: (2018-05-01 )

Good day, your MTNSP query reference: *** A credit request of (R3916.08) excl vat for deactivated dual sim (EFT)charges have been sent through for approval for cell no: ***) for invoice/s date/d: (2018-05-01 )

The debit order for R10 098.02 returned unpaid.

The credits do reflect on the account already. The account balance now is R744.04

The debit order was reinstated.
