MTN LEGAL Department and their way of Working

Hello . I would like to share my issue and the help i got from mtn.Been using mtn from years as prepaid but last year a friend of mine was getting an upgrade for a new fone he asked me do u want it i said yes. So he registered my number on his contract and got me the Phone.Now since Feb 2020 he left this country and went back permanently not paying his monthly and MTN blocked my number as well.Been to mtn HQ on highway Roodeport none can help me they need this and that.So officials said this account is handed to legal department where is that how can i get hold of them none can describe me. It was my business number linked everywhere i cant pay for his number since he aint in country anymore neither coming back but i want to pay for my balance and carry on with my number since i got business here . Mtn cannot help me they said legal department will reach contract owners home etc but no one is living there its sold out . My point is if a person willing to pay his part of balance and willing to carry with his network as mtn is good or so called legal department will prefer to get all the balance from a contract owner who is not even coming back to southafrica
