MTN legal and MTN business

My wife took a contract with them it happened that she was in arrears of 1500 she did paid that, when she requested letter to show that she's no longer on arrears was told that they terminated her contract and she need to pay 6k.

I'm so confused how one can just terminate the client's contract without informing them? Unprofessional.
