MTN lacks due diligence
Hello Peter
MTN has a very terrible service for its clients. I called their retentions department for almost ½ of Dec 2021, and I would stay on the line for 2 hours, I wanted to cancel my contract that was ending Jan 2022, I never succeeded.
Suddenly my contract status changes from ‘contracts’ to ‘month-to-month’ and then I also SUDDENLY have a shortfall of R220!
I have 3 contract accounts with them, they choose to suspend my main number that I use for emergencies and not suspended the number I supposedly have short-payed.
Now I’m stranded and I can’t make phone/data calls for a number that is fully up to date! This is what you get for being a “valuable” client of MTNs, I’m seriously moving my business somewhere else I can’t stand this!
Another thing is it was not disclosed to me that when the contract term ends I’ll pay more than what I initially signed up for(it’s a habit of their salesmen to not disclose such so that you’re liable at the end of the day), so who must settle that R220?
If they don’t reverse this, I’m not renewing my MTN contracts, forever.
Regards Angry client
