MTN lack of Customer Service!!

I am upset with MTN and I would like to lodge a complaint seeing that I have been trying to resolve this matter with MTN as of October 2016. I have been transferred to MTN from Autopage with the promise that Myself as a customer will not be inconvenienced. MTN decided to only take payments as of May 2016 and not anything from March. After the debit order was debited on the 3rd of May I phoned customer care and I asked if my account is in arrears seeing that a negative balance reflects. The consultant insured me that my account was not in arrears. In October I missed my debit order because of late payment of salary and on the 20th of October I was informed that the debitorder on 1 Nov 2016 will be for double the amount of my monthly cost. I paid the amount of the debit order that was send back on the 18th of October thus my account was not in arrears. Seeing that the payment for the statement that closed on the 16th of October was only due in November. I made the payment for that outstanding balance on the 6th of November. Thus as far as I'm concerned my account was paid up to date seeing that I did not miss a payment although some payments was delayed. In january 2017 I missed my debit order date due to no salary payment. On the 11th of January my phone was partially cut-off seeing that I "did not work together with the collections department" who barely rang the phone on two occasions and I did not have time to even answer the phone. On the 16th of January my line was totally cut-off on the complaint that I was 3 months behind on my payment. Although I have only missed a payment for 2 weeks!! The consultants explained to me that MTN works a month in arrears. Thus I am in arrears for one month and the statement have been issued on the 16th of January that is scheduled for payment on 1 February but is already in arrears!!!. I have tried to ask MTN to please assist me because I even phoned Customer Care in May 2016 to ask if my account is in arrears and if a payment should be made but it was said that my account was up to date and I need not worry about the minus amount reflecting on my account. Customer care have on several occasions agreed to help me but have done nothing. My line is completely shut off and I cannot receive any calls. I have before that not once missed a payment and MTN refuses to even give me the necessary statements. I feel that MTN have not taken me as a client into consideration. How can MTN just shut off my line if I have missed a payment for only 7 days and then completely block incomming calls after 14days. This after I have bent over backwards to make sure that I make a payment every month.

My line is only open seeing that I made a payment on my account. After making the payment a MTN staff memver told me that my line will not be open because the line was handed over to legal department! Once again after going to pay a fee of R1025 I had to phone MTN customer care to open my line. I have still not to date received the statements requested on more than four occasions (since October 2016). Along with the call recording that I have requested numerous times. So the problem have not been resolved. Although a quick response from your side, dissappointing service from MTN.
