MTN Knowles Pinetown terrible customer service

I went to MTN Knowles in Pinetown to apply for a business contract last week. A few days later I got a call from the consultant advising me the contracts had been approved and the devices were ready for collection. I then requested the devices to be ported to my current MTN cell numbers which I was informed would take another day. On day of intending to collect the phones I phoned the store to check if port was successful before I went to collect phones. Was then informed I could not collect because my permit is expiring in less than 2 years time which is duration of contract. Not only was I informed by store supervisor in a rude way I was confused why I was only being told this now after been initially told contract had been approved and made to believe phones were being ported. even if I do get a renewal of my permit I will never go to that store or any other MTN store for that matter. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking for a retailer that big. How do a company tell a potential subscriber a contract has been approved then there after change????????? Is this the standard service for all applications? Had they declined my application for that reason on the onset it could have saved me time and effort.
