MTN Isurance be carefull

A year after upgrading my Wife’s cell phone and contributing to MTN’s coffers for over 30 years.

We decided and instructed MTN to continue insuring her old phone, a Samsung A5 and to use it as a backup device.

When one of us needed to use the A5 and lost it while out walking we put in a claim and were informed that the claim would not be settled as me had not informed NTN of the cell phone number that had been allocated to that particular unit.

Although we had requested that they continue to insure the unit and had not filled in a cell number on the insurance application form at the time and that they had been billing us for over a year for insuring that particular unit.
