MTN is very ***********
MTN this year(2018) has given me a lot of ****, I finally decided that I'm going to port from them to Vodacom after 8 years of being with them on the same number. At the beginning of the year, they blacklisted my phone without my consent and they told me their system doesn't show who blacklisted it and it's reported under *****. I bought the cellphone I used for over 9 months then one day ****, my phone isn't working and MTN says they can see that my ID number and names are on the number used on the cellphone but they don't know who blacklisted it. They told me to whitelist it I did and still nothing happened, I called again and again they kept telling me my phone is under investigation, it is put under ***** so they're still investigating. A month later still not working, I even had to sell some guy who said he doesn't mind it being blacklisted and pop out extra cash to buy a Note 8 as I was using an S8+, I had to sell an S8+ for R6K. And now I bought night data yesterday so I can use it when I wake up at 1am and to come to my surprise my normal data was depleted and MTN said they'll reimburse me for the night data I should call in the morning as their system is offline so that's why my night data wasn't loaded, I called in the morning and they told me they're gonna research for 7 days, after 7 days I should call and they'll tell me whether they're reimbursing me or not. This network always has issues, I tolerated them but after this year I'm done and I'LL NEVER recommend MTN to anyone. This network is nonsense and their customer care is terrible, they're very *********** and as a long time MTN user I'm very disappointed with how you MTN treat your customers.
