MTN is trash. Their champions are a disgrace. Complete incompetence!!!!!!!

Really frustrated with MTN, I called their service “champions” twice a few days prior to my contract ending to cancel my contract and they told me to call on the exact day of my contract expiry date. I did so and after having to correct their consultant on the term of my contract and what actually constitute 12 calendar months? and holding on the line for a very long time while he consults with his manager he finally confirmed that they will debit my account one last time this month to complete the cycle. This debit order will be equivalent to the normal usual amount. My contract expired on 13/08/2021. Yesterday I received an invoice stating that I will be debited the Normal amount due on the 25/08/2021. This morning at around 2am I received another invoice with double the amount I am usually billed. I called them again today to find out why this is as my contract is already cancelled. The consultant I spoke to today says she doesn’t know and unfortunately there is nothing she can do. The double amount will go off and all she can do is escalate. MTN really is full of *********** people who either don’t know how to do their job or are poorly trained. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying all of them are bad but during my time with MtN I’ve had the displeasure of just being serviced by people who don’t know how to help you. Most of the time you spend trying to help them understand their job and this is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve been given a reference number to which the lady said I should not expect a response until after 4 business days. What nonsense is this?????? If you are out there looking for a service provider, I strongly advise that you stay away from MTN. They treat their customers like trash. For people who claim to be service champions who brighten your day, they do the opposite. There is no championing anything and if anything they will ruin your day because even after not being able to help you they still have the nerve to ask if there is anything else they can assist you with. They are totally a disgrace!!!!!!!
