MTN is ******* *****ing from the poor.

I'm an MTN customer for many years and have reached my final straw. My uncle have bought my wife and I 10gigs each of data as a gift, a couple of days ago mtn sends message that my data will expire in 48hours so usually that happens if I have bought a 30day data package. So I call my uncle to ask if he bought a 30day package of 10gigs, he said no and said MTN may not expire my data. Yesterday I checked my data and the 8.77gigs I had left was gone and my wife's 7.5gigs she had left. That is 16gigs just lost. I seek compensation for data that was left or give my data back, it was paid for and they just took it, that's theft in my eyes. A good gift from a uncle to me and my wife was ****** from us. Rich companies *****ing from the poor it's a disgrace.

Good day Eugene

Thank you for your post.
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
Please note that the data that was sent to both you and your wife was sent on the 4th of January 2019 and it was a 30day data hence it expired on the 4th February 2019. I have contacted your uncle as well. As per our telephone conversation, please be advised that for now the carry over will be implemented as of the 1st March for 60days.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
Warm RegardsZenetta Portia ViljoenComplaints Management team
