MTN is the worst.

You pay monthly on an insurance premium for the unforeseen on your phone i.e theft. My phone was ****** 3 weeks ago and FINALLY today they came back to me with an answer from Guardrisk (the underwriters) that they can not honour my claim because it wasn't locked up and there was no evidence of forceful entry by the perpetrators. We live in South Africa. A country where majority of the population work on their cell phones. Now you want to tell me that an insurance claim can not be honored. Not only Have I lost my phone but all the portfolios and critical information AND the least one would expect that theft would be covered regardless. No, your phone is to be locked up at all times. I feel sorry for the people who get ****** or who's handbags get ******. If you are with MTN'S insurance, YOU ARE *****ED. Very dissatisfied with MTN and Guardrisk. This is just a confirmation that my road of approximately 21 years with MTN is coming to an END. I would not recommend MTN or anything MTN and Guardrisk Related. I would also not encourage anyone to take out insuracne with MTN, But rather to stick to their own personal insurer.
