MTN IS THE WORSE THING THAT HAPPEN TO MY BUSINESS
1 week ago, I requested MTN to port my number from Vodacom network not knowing i was making the biggest mistake of my life. The reason i requested a port was because most of my customers on MTN network couldn't reach me when i was on the Vodacom network especially MTN subscribers. When they call me, it sometimes ring and ring until it goes to Voicemail meanwhile, i don't receive any incoming call notification on my phone. That went on for a while and after that, a new problem emerge. When MTN subscribers call my line, it just says not available or when it does, someone else picks up the phone. All these problem i being having while on the Vodacom network. I reported this to Vodacom, they said, they couldn't find any problem on their side. I changed my phone and still the same thing. So i decided to port out of Vodacom to MTN maybe things will be different on their network. Here i am into the second week without my line. First of all, their porting took 2-3 days (longer than the 24hour period they promised) and when it finally went through, i lost signal on my Vodacom line, so i inserted the new sim given to me at the MTN stock, on doing that, it did not pick up network.
