MTN is the most useless service provider in SA!

Kindly STAY AWAY from taking out any contract with MTN ever!!! You will be sorry. The only way to contact them is by dialling 808. You wait 30-60 min for someone to answer and then get cut off so you have to call again and again. Everytime they assure us they have fixed the billing date on their system only to find out a week or 2 later it still is unchanged & nothing was done. They also never call you back to confirm action, you have to call back and go through whole waiting game to see if they did what they promised. And obviously they did not. Our phones have been cut off so often and we can see it happening again this month due to no action being taken on their part!!! The branches are even more useless. The people working there are lazy, know nothing and are extremely inefficient. All they have been taught is to tell the client to please go and call 808! PLEEEASE MTN why don't you go to Vodacom and learn how a service provider is meant to do business. They are always one step ahead of their clients and fall over backwards to assist with anything!
Can MTN kindly call US back to sort out this billing matter once and for all.
Is their any way we can move our contracts to Vodacom

Hello antoinettef00,

We are truly sorry for the delayed response and for the breakdown in service experienced.

We've perused your account, we see that you are a cash paying customer. All our cash paying customers have 21 days from their invoice date to make a payment on their account. The line is being barred as you are exceeding this time period to make payments.

We've now logged a request (REQ:***) with our Billing Support team to change your billing date to the latest date we have available which is the 26th of every month. This then should allow you enough time to make a payment before the line is barred.

We will touch base with you as soon as the billing cycle date has been changed.

Regards
Tim
