MTN is *****ing my money!!!!!!

In April 2015 I went to have my one contract upgraded to have a split sim and 100 minutes to the handset and the data package of 1G to the Ipad. they incorrectly upgraded another nr of mine, then MTN went on strike. I was unable to get any support for a long period and have been to various branches to get assistance but to no avail. Due to my phone nr now being a Data contract the calls were very expensive and I could not use my phone to make calls, I eventually decided to upgrade my WIFI contract to a Sky Package and had to carry two handsets for a number of months to be able to perform in my job. Then in Dec in desperation I went to HQ for assistance. The lady who assisted me said they first have to remove the upgrade from my phone back to the original nr which I requested and re-instate my original contract. Then I need to come back in January to merge the Sky Package with my phone contract, I now have a pay as you go, not by choice and paying for the Sky contract. Having to load airtime everyday to use my phone. Not getting any assistance from MTN, I want to scream at the top of my voice with frustration.

Hello Marijke.Otto,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.

We have now perused your account and we see that our ***** Department has reactivated your SIM card as a contract number and also requested the account to be credited from April 2015 till the current date. This credit will reflect on your next statement & invoice you receive.

We see that the number ending with 8272 is currently on a 1GB data bundle package with a secondary SIM card (Dual call).

We will call you directly just to clarify some details as we see that you've visited our offices.

Regards
Tim
