MTN is ripping people off because they know how limited our resources are

I got black listed by MTN. Listen to this. My contract a Sim only contract that I got signed up for over the phone. Those telemarketers. So I took that in 2020, in 2022 September the 2 years have went by and I called to cancel. Done so I thought. No this year last month I find out I'm blacklisted I call the credit department to find out how. Turns out it's MTN. I call them they say the contract was never closed and I now owe R1710. 44. My monthly fee when I was paying was R100 per month. How it got to R1700 from September 2022 to today 10th Aug 2023 is beyond me. The Sim has not be active since cancellation in September 2022. Why am I being billed no one can give me a reason. Saying it is the terms of the contract. I then request a contract because it was over there phone. And I requested all the calls on this line, as they say all calls are recorded and may be made available to you upon request. Up till today no calls have been sent to me. I just paid today R1710.44 just because I'm not blacklisted and pursuing the case will cost more. And they know this. After they hanged up so many times on me and calling me rude I finally paid this. They know how limited help we receive in this country as black people they are billing on that MTN. Is *** and when I finally received the calls I will post them on my Facebook for all to hear how they speak to us blacks, uneducated. Looters of South Africa.
