MTN is responsive and unconcerned
During their recent strike, MTN was not allocating payments to my cellphone contract account and this resulted in the line being suspended, twice during the period. I also happened to upgrade during the same period, unaware of the strike at the time. Now, I am made to believe I have an outstanding bill which is in no way consistent with my use of the account - there is a clear trend / pattern of how the account was conducted just before the strike and suddenly too many inaccuracies. I've tried all manner of follow ups to query these inconsistencies - calls to call center, emails, visits to stores. No one I've spoken to is able to send / print statements indicating itemized billing and recon of payments against invoices - I've not been able to access their new online statement service either. I've always paid my MTN account on time (client for many years) why suddenly would I stop!? I'm simply requesting clarity which no one is able to provide and instead I wait in silence as the phone line is suspended once more. I've tried all possible MTN-provided avenues to remedy and as a last resort am going public. I need clear answers and the line reopened with urgency!!!!!!
