MTN is refusing to refund my OVERPAYMENT of R6000.

For the past 3 months i have been fighting to get MTN to reactivate my line. I have made seen OVERPAYMENT OF R6000 towards my account but no one wants to help me with the reactivation of that line or even a cancellation of the contact...

Their walk in stores claim that they cannot help me, and the customer service people keep on telling me that my query has been emailed to their legal department, who seemingly do not have a direct contact number. The legal department has not gotten back to me, and i still don't have a working number... and they are REFUSING TO REFUND ME MY OVERPAYMENT OF R6000.

MTN has still not responded to my query. Making it officially 8 months without an active line. Somehow they have a legal department that does not have telephones and cannot be called. For a call service i find that oddly surprising and also who in this day and age doesn't have telephone numbers? My Account number: A ********** I spoke to a Jeremy from their call centre who is apparently a Manager in their customer care, and he still insists that even with an excess of R6000 which i paid MTN, I still need to wait EVEN MORE for their legal department to get back to me after they send them an email from their side.... Reference: ********** 67 After 11 years with MTN i don't want anything to do with them and their slow service. I just want my money back, & i want them to cancel these lines....
