MTN is over charging me on the contract.
Utter nonsense, so in 2024 April I initiated a contract with MTN for iPhone 15 that’s I have been paying 1150 for 24 month contract, so I haven’t missed a payment until January 2026 due to my contract ending with my employer and they paid me late, but I did make a payment on the 5th of February and I paid the entire outstanding balance shown in my mtn app which was 2922 rands, since my contract was ending in March 2026 so I paid a month earlier. And that outstanding balance reflecting on the app has been decreasing ever since I had a contract with them so in February I paid the entire balance off but the app never decreased to zero even currently it still reflect that outstanding balance from February, and they have closed my phone outgoing calls for not making payments for March (which is suppose to be the last month of my contract) and they still billing me for April as well, imagine. That time I thought I had completed the contract in February by paying the outstanding amount that’s been decreasing since I saw it at a higher value last year when I pad in February I paid the entire outstanding balance but MTN is continuing to charge me just because my contract hasn’t ended even thou the amount of money for the contract was paid a month earlier before it ends. So now I’m confused and MTN seems to be trying to over charge me for the phone contract I had with them. Since they have never called to inform me of the phone balance instead they were calling me excessively about upgrading. This service provider has proven to be very *********** and horrible service provider do yourself a favour and don’t do contracts with mtn. The app has not changed anything all of the amounts are still reflecting as if I didn’t pay for February now I cat make calls.
