MTN is just as useless as all the other ISPs

I moved recently and needed WiFi in my home. Metrofibre has monopoly on the infrastructure in my building and so I looked for an ISP that can help me get it done. None of them have month-to-month options on fibre, except MTN that has an AirFibre option for a little less in cost per month. I signed up at the Mall of Africa MTN store, with a lady named Khanyi. She wasn't extremely knowledgeable on the product because like she said, it is very new and I was their store's first customer, but she was very helpful and very friendly. During the process of placing the order, Khanyi advised that payment will only be due after installation, before the service can be activated. While in the store, I logged into my account via a link that was sent to complete the setting up, the website expressly said that I can either pay now or pay later but the service won't be activated without payment. She also said that I should be getting communication for installation either by Tuesday or Wednesday. After signing up on Sunday, I received a series of emails and it was there that I saw that MTN offers this service, but it is Supersonic that deals with all the techical. Supersonic WhatsApp'd me yesterday saying that my order is not complete because I need to make payment. Based on the information relayed to me by Khanyi and as well as the disclaimer on the Supersonic website, I dismissed the message. Checking on the progress of the order today, I see that it hasn't moved. I private messaged MTN and Supersonic on Facebook, both of which took exceptionally long to get back to me. MTN comes back to me and says that I need to contact Supersonic directly to get further assistance. I told MTN that I did not sign up for the service with Supersonic, I don't have any business with them. Supersonic is MTN's service provider, not mine. MTN didn't direct me to Supersonic when I placed my AirFibre order, they happily signed me up and now when I need help, I must do their job and contact Supersonic?? Thanks, but no thanks. I'm certainly not going to be putting up with this before I even have a router in my house. Goodbye, MTN, you had your chance and failed dismally. I would rather use Telkom LTE bundles than deal with this.
