MTN is involved with ********** activities

I noted a new charge listed as “Content Charge” on my monthly statement. I immediately took this up with MTN. The consultant said she knew all about this and proceeded to remove this setting from my Cell Phone. The amount was not large, so I did not bother to request a credit. I was shocked to find with my latest account the same charge but for R239.46. I have never requested this service or even can understand the need for it! I went to MTN for the second time. This time I was told, “I had contracted this service because I had clicked on the offer on a website”. This is nonsense! I have never done this. So it seems that once MTN has access to your bank account it can bill you for any mythical service it wishes. So why bother to sign their very lengthy agreement listing their terms and conditions when they can willy- nilly add any fictitious service to your account and take the money directly from your bank without your permission.
I have reported this to their ***** division but have had no response!
