MTN is in breach of the consumer protection act!

I requested an upgrade to my contract, requesting a note 5. I was told that they will not bring the note 5 to SA by three MTN shops and The Samsung Representative. Tanya. I told them I will wait, they said it will be a waste of time. I settled for the note 4 and 2 weeks later the note 5 was available. At the same time I asked them to sim swop my dual sim as it would not send SMS. I paid for a new sim and still have no service after returning 5 times and sending multiple requests.<br> This just terrible service and no response to assist and rectify.

Hello celuther,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced.

Firstly we have now managed to get the SIM swap done as the SIM card was made available on the network.

The issue pertaining to the Samsung Note 5 and being advised incorrectly has been escalated to the Regional Manager for the store to assist and get the matter resolved.

Once again we do apologize for the breakdown in service experienced.

Regards
Tim
