MTN is debiting money from my account even though I do not have an account with them

A few weeks ago my girlfriend created a a Hellopeter account for me on my behalf with regards to MTN debiting money from my account even though I do not have an account with them. Within a few after activating my Hellopeter account MTN called me back asking me about my problem. I was contacted by a lady who goes by the name of Zukiswa Plaatjie who is in the *****'s department, she requested some documents from me; namely a copy of my ID, a sworn Affidavit from the SAPS. I responded swiftly to her request and sent her the documents that she had requested on her email address which is ********** . I called her the next day to check whether she had received the documents or not, unfortunately she had already left her office at the time so I called her office again the following morning & I was told that she was in a meeting she'll get back to me so I left a message & my cellphone number and asked if she could phone me back. I was told that she will get back to me as soon as she is available.

I called a few more times that day & no one answered. I called again the following day using my cellphone & then again same result, no one answered. So I decided to call Zukiswa using a different number & guess what......someone answered & I was told that Zukiswa has gone to lunch, strangely enough the person that I was talking to at the time was talking to Zukiswa at the back ground & I could hear Zukiswa saying to the guy,"tell that person that I am on lunch". I was frustrated by the treatment that I'm getting from these guys. Its been 5 months now & MTN has been debiting R2000,00 from my bank account every month & every time I go into an MTN store to talk about my issue, they tell me to talk to customer care & then customer care refers me to Zukiswa's office which in turn doesn't reply to any of my calls made from my personal cellphone.

Please help me, I am really frustrated by this.

Thank you for your post

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

Please be advised that the ********** lines were deactivated and a journal of R5346.49 (including vat) was passed to the account on 2016-04-26 leaving the account with a credit of R2269.72 (including vat). We have requested for the R2269.72 (including vat) to be refunded to your bank account, reference number: *** please allow +/- 5 working days for this to be resolved.

We understand that the entire experience must be very frustrating and hope that we can restore your faith in us.

Kind Regards
Siphumezo
