MTN IS A **** COMPANY GETTING AWAY WITH ******.

Wow. 71,677 negative reviews about MTN. How is it possible that they continue to get away with their ******** activity? I have been trying to downgrade my MTN contract since June 2021... because they have **** coverage and their signal goes down 10 minutes into load shedding. I have spent a whole year and a fortune of time and money trying to get hold of their retention department - phone calls, emails and even interactions with their social media people on Instagram. It is ABSOLUTELY impossible to get through to them. They have deliberately set it up that way. Even when you choose option 3 = cancellations from their call centre menu, the call goes through to their SALES department! And when you explain you want to cancel, they say "one moment please"... and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I have now sent a complaint to ICASA. And, as a last resort, I have stopped my MTN debit order with my bank. There is simply no other way to put it - MTN is a **** company, getting away with ******. They are Gangsters. Bandits. *********. This can't go on forever. Something has to give. Something has to be done. iF YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING A MTN CONTRACT - JUST DON'T. Vodacom, on the other hand, is BRILLIANT. they have excellent coverage and they NEVER GO DOWN WHEN THERE IS LOAD SHEDDING.
