I had an unlimited data contract with mtn where I was paying R479.00 per month. At the end of the contract mtn placed me on monthly to month service where they were deducting R1000. When I asked them how can they do that without my concern, they said it's because I did not cancel my contract. I immediately told them to cancel my contract in the branch, unfortunately they said they no longer cancel in the branch I must call to cancel. I called to cancel but to my surprise they kept on deducting until I blocked them in my bank. They handed me to their lawyers. I told the lawyers that I payed my contract in full even more and I cancelled my contract. They asked me for evidence, I sent them messages that showed my contract ended. I even asked them to ask mtn for Those recording of several calls that I made to them. The lawyers stopped communicating with me & now they are busy ruining my credit score. Mtn trap us in their contract & when it ends they find ways to ****** money from clients.
