MTN is a **** and not ready to compete with other network providers and they still have *********** employees that will not take responsibility on behalf of their company
I purchased a home router from an MTN outlet toward the month end of July where I was charged a pro rata from that day till the day I chose as my day of debit (7th of every month) together with a month in advance payment until the 7th of September. The consultant further assured me I would not get a debit from my account if I should make payment before the 7th of September. Today the 20/08 I got cut off from the server and called the helpline to be assisted by Sikelelwa Mazaleni under ref.#: *** at 12h15, who told me I was misinformed at the outlet and she apologizes for that, but I had to pay R400 more that they tried to debit from my account but failed on the 7th of August. I insisted she let me speak to her manager after she said they will do nothing and I should go get help from outlet. She told me the manager asked to call me back after her meeting and refused to give her name. It is 3hours later now and they will be knocking off soon so I was played. MTN is still a **** after all these years there.is no improvement with their services. Their employees work with different rules like they are working for different companies . There is incompetency that no one wants to take accountability for as the anonymous manager that promised to call me back will not call me at all. I have been misled into thinking MTN has better service and can compete with other networks, but they clear cannot.
