MTN Invoicing cycle change

I am extremely unimpressed with the way in which MTN has changed the invoicing and bundle allocation process. I believe I have been cheated out of a number of days worth of data and voice bundle utilisation.

In short MTN informed me that my invoice cycle has changed from the 21st to the 27th of the month, seems reasonable and simple. The ompact however is larger than what MTN contact centre are prepared to admit to.

By changing the invoicing cycle MTN has effectively changed the first month of the change to a 5 week cycle instead of 4 weeks, that means that data bundles and voice bundles that would normally be sufficient for 4 weeks now need to be sufficient for 5 weeks during the first cycle.

In my case it needs to be suffiecient up to the 27th instead of the 21st. The Nett effect is that I have had to purchase additional data and additional anytime minutes, MTN obviously makes cold hard cash on these additional purchases while playing dumb to the impact of changing an invoicing cycle.

Not impressed at all.
