MTN internal *****.
In October 2022 my wife's phone was disconnected. After investigation it was found that in July a R15 000 purchase was made on her account and numerous calls were made on her phone number. After numerous telephonic discussions with MTN, R9000 was removed from the account. The remaining R6000 is still showing on the account. MTN claims that it was internet data and phone calls made by her. The account in discussion is a top-up account which blocks the use of the phone once the limit is reached. MTN refuse to remove the outstanding amount from the account, although admitting a ********** activity within MTN. To date the phone is still blocked although the contractual obligation is adhered to on a monthly basis.
