MTN Insure make up lies to avoid insurance claim
Good day;
I would like your assistance in getting my repudiation to my cell phone insurance claim reversed to an approval of my claim.
I submitted my claim sometime in Oct 2018. I received a response from the insurance company with a reject to my claim on 20 Nov 2018, where I was informed that my claim was rejected based on the following points.
1. That my premiums were not up to date and that all debit orders were reversed from my account as there were no funds available to make the agreed debit - to which I rep**** with proof of my salary pay day which is the 25th of every month, in relation to my debit order to the MTN contract which is also the 25th of every month.
A day or two later a response came with screen shots of my account from the supplier (MTN) - 22 November 2018
2. The response continued to argue that my premiums were not up to date as it was initially communicated and the insurer also claimed that "portions of the amounts were paid and up until the 25th of August"
- to which I rep**** similarly to my first response (That the funds were available for debit on my account every month to which I can prove) I made the insurer aware again that my debit order agreement with them was not for partial payments and why that was the case is a mystery to me.
- I also made note of the fact that as far as I knew my phone contract was on track as debits were going off my account every month as planned and I did not receive any communication from MTN requesting the outstanding payments, which I feel was not a fair chance for me to resolve any unpaid debits.
- To which I was told that I would get response within 24 to 48 hours.
3. Another response came 1 hour later on 22 November 2018 To which the insurer sent me a screen shot that claimed that I was a cash paying customer on the service providers records, implying that I was untrue in saying that all the payments for the contract between myself and MTN was a debit order arrangement. (which I find to be foul play as it feels to me like they are resorting to lying to have my insurance claim remained as rejected.
Please help and see the attached some of the communication between myself and the service provider. Please note that I am available to send documents to prove my argument.
Regards
