MTN Insurance: Worst insurance ever

<p>I lost my phone on the 12th of May 2016. I got a chance to log a case at Midrand police station the following week. After getting my case I immediately tried to log a claim on MTN insurance website and I was told I will get my claim reference number in 24 hours time. Up until now I never received it. I gave it time hoping it will come through, but nothing. I kept on calling MTN insurance but it looks like they don't own phones as I would hold for hours and hours.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 2nd of June I went to MTN Midrand, and I was helped by a lady called Lucretia, she logged a claim and gave me the reference number and told me to wait a few days and MTN Insurance will call me and give me feedback. I waited for 2 weeks, and I went back to MTN Midrand when I was told my claim had expired because it was not attended to by anyone at the insurance department. I kept on calling Lucretia to give me feedback and she kept on telling me my claim has not been attended to. Still when I call MTN insurance number I would wait and wait and wait. Even now on the 25th June 2016, almost a month and a half since I lost my phone, my claim has not been processed. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am utterly disappointed and have no words to express towards MTN insurance. I want to thank Lucretia from MTN Midrand for helping me. MTN Insurance seriously disappointed the both of us because of their incompetency. </p>
