MTN Insurance will be the death of me!

Phoned at 11:56 - 09/04/2018 1. Held for 8minutes 2. Consultant advised it's Monday and they are very busy. 3. Checking where my application is in the que. 4. On Hold for 13min(minus 8) 5. 14:00 - came back to me. 6. She advised that I would receive a confirmation some time today and there after 24-48 hours I will receive the outcome of my claim. (15min call) 7. SMS received 13h30 (Oustanding details)

1.. Phoned back 13H56 (On hold 4min) 2. Consultant advised to hold while he retrieves the claim (On hold 8min) 3. Advised the claim is not yet registered. he advised to contact pinnacle marketing. They require an ID copy, which he advised they can get it from an older claim.

1. Phoned again - 14h04 (On hold - 1min) 2.. Advised to email ID directly, and then confirmed she has my ID from a previous claim and was attaching it as we speak. 3. Next step wait 24hrs.

10/04/2018 - 10:18 - Phoned (on hold for: 12 min) 1. Consultant advised he would check up on my claim (on hold 17 minus 12) 2. Consultantant advised that I need to contact MTN to update the system as it shows money outstanding. 3. I told him I am not going to do that they must contact MTN, as I have spent 19mins on the call already and I am wasting my time. He got arrogant and said How am I waiting your time, 4. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He the arrogantly asked me what for? What do I need to tell her? I said that I have a query she needs to resolve for me. 5. Holding now for 27min. 6. I ended the call as I could see the arrogant gentle man was not transfering me, but had placed me on hold.

1. 10:46- I then phoned Pinnacle marketing Head office number spoke to a lovely lady who informed me that she will try and get someone to phone me, but that the only number I could phone was the MTN one.

I just love how No one informs you about anything! EVER!

I have been a loyal customer with MTN Insurance for over 4 years. And this treatment is really getting old now. How many more times to we have to phone and follow up and beg and plead and phone and do your work for you?
