Mtn insurance- why bother!!

My mobile was ****** on the 28 February 2015. I immediately reported this to the police followed by visiting the Ilanga mall MTN branch which ended up being more frustrating than having my phone ******. The lady I dealt with showed more interest in the person on the other end of her mobile phone and sighing at my request to have my SIM card and phone blocked than actually assisting me. Long story short I was eventually assisted by a gentleman who actually knew what he was doing. I lodged an insurance claim and to this day, a month later, I have no news on when I will receive a replacement phone. I have over the last month emailed, phoned, pleaded but all to no avail and still I eagerly await my monies worth for paying a monthly insurance premium with MTN. What a waste of money that could have been paid to a reliable insurance broker. Not the first issue I have had with MTN and if I decide to stay with them I'm sure not the last either.
