MTN Insurance ******** and De*****ers of Note

In 2016 I bought and insured an Iphone 6 on contract at MTN and in 2018 I upgraded the contract and insurance to an Iphone 8 at MegaCity, Mmabatho MTN Store. Just this past monday I lodged a claim with the insurance through the MTN Store in Kimberley and I was told that the only phone that they insured is the iphone 6. I informed them I stopped using the Iphone 6 handset in 2018 when I upgraded and I have been debited every month for the insurance. I even sent them proof of my last invoice statement, upgrade and insurance contract documents for the Iphone 8 yet they want to backdate the payments from 2018 to date. Why do I have to suffer for something that is not my fault. My device is insured and now its damaged but I cannot claim from the insurance that I have been paying for without fail because of their incompetence. This means that I have been paying insurance since 2018 whereas my device was not insured. They even refused to refund me. This MTN INSURANCE is a ****, they de*****ed me.
