MTN INSURANCE - *******
I have been with MTN for as long as I can remember, further more MTN insurance since 2014 when I first received my iPhone 5C on contract. Since then, I have upgraded to an iPhone 6S 64GB and continued to have this phone up until recently when I was unfortunately pick-pocketed.
I submitted my claim, and it got approved. No issues there. Now, here is the tricky part:
My insurance policy is valued between R14k - R16k, however upon loss and submitting claim. I am told that, it is approved and I will be receiving a device well below the insured amount [insert either iPhone 7 128GB or iPhone 8 64GB]. This is obviously not something I am willing to accept. I am now being bounced around between Monitor Administrators & Pinnacle Marketing to try and ascertain what its going to take to receive a phone which is well worth the value I have been paying a premium for.
I was notified two years ago that my premium will increase to ensure that I am sufficiently insured, value being the R14k - R16k. I agreed to the premium increase, only to now be told this.
What does one do now???
