MTN insurance repair blunder

My phone screen broke, and I have insurance with MTN. At the beginning of last month, a claim was submitted, and my phone was sent in for repairs at TT3 Repair center in Randburg. The insurance policy clearly states that repairs will take between 3 and seven days. This was not the case with my phone, when this 7-day mark came; I was told stories about how the phone failed quality check and how they are waiting for more parts to arrive.

I complained, and the following day I received a call from TT3 telling me that my phone has been fixed and will be shipped out. I had already lost faith in the repair center's ability to fix my phone, and I had a bad feeling that I was going to receive my phone in a not so good state.

When my phone finally got back to me, I started noticing strange behavior on it; it all of a sudden needed at least three charges in one day; and this is with all the settings it had before it was sent in for repairs. Now my battery is depleting three times as fast, and the ambient light sensors seem not to be working how they are supposed to(which might be the reason why the screen is using up more power now).

Now I am still waiting for my phone to get picked up and again I am very worried about how long it will take this time to fix it how they were supposed to fix it, to begin with. And clearly, phones that are brought in by MTN insurance don't take much priority at the repair center as compared to their walk-in customers; that is why it takes twice or 3 times as long to get a phone repaired. And this still goes beyond the advertised repair period by MTN insurance. I am going to be unnecessarily subjected to the inconvenience of not having my phone with me all because people failed to do their job properly the first time round.

And as I said before, think twice before you consider MTN insurance or TT3 repair centre for your insurance or repairs; it has surely been a nightmare.
