MTN Insurance, GuardRisk, Pinnacle Marketing CON!

Please think twice before you insure with MTN Insurance, assisted by GuardRisk & Pinnacle Marketing. I have been insured my MTN for many years! Recently my phoned got damaged, and my claim was rejected, as my insured sim was not in my insured phone. This is noted in the fineprint of their policy. The problem is, no policy was sent to me on this particular insured handset. They did send me a policy on a previous handset on another package.

When you upgrade, you have to make sure that your insured handset is the actual one that is insured, MTN will NOT update it automatically, and will NOT pay out insurance when you need to claim!!
