MTN INSURANCE GROSS NEGLECT TO HONOUR APPROVED INSURANCE CLAIM/****

RE: MTN INSURANCE CAPE TOWN: My daughter lodged a claim for cellphone insurance that was approved in March/April 24. It was extremely frustrating to follow a disjointed process. It appears that they delaying the process so much making it impossible to claim. So, she was given a whole enquiry form to complete to submit with accompany documents. She did that and the said they will come back to her after the claim has been processed. They never did and after many calls and follow-ups they eventually said the claim was accepted. After the claim was accepted - more questions followed - and these questions were all answered several times before. Eventually after approval MTN Insurance underwritten by Santam informed my daughter that the phone will be courier. Several times they said the phone is out for delivery but no tracking details at first and then eventually she was provided with tracking number but nothing you can track. My daughter phoned them multiple times and every time the same story, the phone is on its way. To date no phone!! Going into the Branch in Canal Walk is worthless because the consultants simply say that they have nothing to do with the insurance company. This I find pathetic.

We can't do this anymore - it is simply unprofessional, ********* and disgraceful to treat your client like this. It's as if nothing will move them to do the right thing.
