MTN insurance = *****

MTN Insurance is an absolute lie. Just tryin to file a claim with MTN is near impossible as every person at MTN has a different story of how the process works an no two stories correlate. First they would not take in the phone unless the charger is given in with it. Then they refused to take the phone because the supposedly "couldnt find the insurance policy" after a call an another arduous process I finally managed to confirm that the policy was in place. Next the person instore told me MTN insurance would come and pick it up at my house or they could take the phone instore (he convinced me to have the phone picked up so that I could deal with them directly and not have him as a middle man). I filled out all the forms and emailed the claim to them. After several days they finally came back that the phone would be collected. Weeks have passed and no one has come to collect the phone. I've emailed them several times, called several times, every time they couldnt find my existing claim and I had to provide all the information all over again. Still no one has come to collect the phone. Finally fed up I went into store directly to hand in the phone, only for the people there (including the same sales person who convinced me to have to phone picked up) to say that they couldnt possibly take the phone in and that it had to be collected. There is no process in place for if the courier cant come to collect the phone, so if you dont live in an area close enough to the store there is simply no way they will help you, never mind that I've been paying for this insurance for almost a year and no one thought to check the service range for this so called "service". I am now fully convinced that there is no repair centre or insurance company that can actually handle these claims and they purposefully give you this run around of different advise so that they can avoid ever living up to their side of the bargain.
