MTN INSURANCE DUCKING AND DIVING INSURANCE CLAIM
I filed an insurance claim for my damaged handset on the 9th of March 2015. On the 13th, i received mail that said my claim had been denied because my handset is not insured. This is despite the fact that MTN deducts insurance premiums from my account religiously on a month to month basis.

I then mailed back, disputing the initial unwillingness to honor my insurance claim on the 18th of March.

I have yet to get a response (over a month after my initial claim) and it is impossible to get hold of MTN INSURANCE- because you are made to hold for up to 15 minutes at a time before the call is terminated.

To add to my dissatisfaction, when I go into the branch at Canal Walk, I am told they can't help me and that I should just continue playing hide and seek with their insurance division, telephonically.

Surely, this can't be acceptable as a professional nature of dealing with paying clients.

Apologies for the delayed response and inconvenience caused.
Please note that as per our telephone conversation, i enquired and according to the insurance policy, when you upgrade you need to call insurance and give us your new IME number and model of the phone, so that is updated on the system.
