MTN insurance disaster
On the 4th of November I submitted a claim for a ****** phone from MTN insurance. On the 14th of November MTN Claims sent me an email stating that the claim had been approved and that i should pay an excess of R300, I did so on the same day. A phone was sent to me on the 21st of November, the phone had a fault and subsequently did not charge. I called the insurer to notify them of this and was told that on Monday they would send a courier guy to come collect it, this did not happen even with the countless calls I made to them regarding the collection of the phone. On 29th of November the phone was collected from me and I was promised delivery by Monday the 2nd of Dec, today is the 4th of Dec 2019, I have just gotten off the phone with one of their consultants, expressing my frustrations about their pathetic customer service, as a client, if there are any back hand issues with the claim process, I should be notified of such and not be made to call every other day and be sent from Pillar to post about the process of my claim. I am annoyed and have pretty much all my family and staff on this insurer and will be cancelling my cover as well as insuring that everyone I know does the same. They do not deserve an ounce of my money going further. Also the nonchalant approach to customer needs infuriates me, these ****en consultants do not even care about the inconvenience caused. They think giving you the "we apologize for any inconvenience caused" will remedy all their **** ups.
We sincere apologized for any inconvenienced caused.
