Mtn insurance

I took out a contract, wasn't told that I have insurance on the contract, upon querying my premium I was told about the insurance fee. I then had a damage claim, which was rejected and they referred me to my T'c & C's. Insurance policy that was not discussed with me a copy they extracted had no disclosures signed by me, inception date of the policy is dated a year I was not even born then. They don't want to take ownership.
