MTN Insurance and MTN Disgusting terms
MTN Offer insurance when you take an contract or an handset the after that they just take your money for p year I have been paying R140 plus for insurance on my phone upgrade 3 times after the initial contract. After 9 year of having a phone insured I dropped it an wanted the screen replaced now all of a sudden its not the correct phone that is insured ?? I was told that the only phone that would be insured is the contract phone and I must use the Sim card and number in it. After 2 weeks of reporting the clam back and fourth now the claim is rejected The phone on my mtn Details does not match th e phone that I am using obvious I have upgraded 3 times since I started with the insurance. Sorry sir it your responsibility to let us know if you upgrade you don't have a valid claim ! In 9 years not one SMS nor one phone call not one e mail to notify me or to just check is the phone that u are using the following ? not one time Ask them that question then is not them pinnacle marketing its MTN pass the buck back and forth Thanks MTN for taking my money for 9 year and rejecting my claim !! Then you have the nerve to tell me I must give 30 day notice to cancel the insurance that does not cover anything !!!!!!!! I will report this to the short term Ombut and see how he would handle the claim ? I don't think under RDR treating a customer fair you would get very far with this behavior. You as MTN we well aware I ungraded to another handset and now you denied and make it my responsibility to let your insures know You are my insurer the fact that you outsource is nor my problem on my bill I pay for MTN Insurance as per my bill. Will also move my cellphone away from people or companies that just want to explode me!!!
