MTN Insurance- A nightmare

On 15 May, my wife was ****** of her phone at gun point. Luckily she was not physcially harmed. I then called MTN Insurance to find out if that particular phone was insured, since I have been paying for insurance. I was told that it was in fact insured, and that we needed to blacklist the phone and report the case at the police. A consultant from Pinnacle Marketing (MTN Insurance Brokers) by the name of Alicia de Waal, even sent me the claim form. I did everything I was asked including getting proof of an upgrade; and sent the form and ID to ********** on 20 May 2017.

Long story short, today is 5th June, my claim has not been fulfiled; Alicia doesn't answer my mails. Last week I spoke to Monitor something (the insruance company for MTN) and they said, they are waiting for MTN to confirm that my phone was insured.

I don't know whom to ask anymore. But it is such a shame that a reputable company like MTN does business with insurance companies that fail to updhold the very business accumen MTN claims to stand for.
