MTN indirectly "*****ing" your money with false advertising
This is the email I sent to MTN on the 6th of September. They even rep**** and apologised for any inconveniences and told me the will resolve the matter. Now at the end of the month they have the audacity of billing me and deducting money from my account. The sim is not even activated! Please be aware the really do shady business.
I hope someone can assist me. I app**** for an MTN LTE wifi deal where the router is included. The operator told me that I do not qualify to get the router included and should buy it separately. He also told me that I will be able to buy a router which is a category 6 router for around R300 to R400. I told the operator that he should phone me back later as I first have to talk to my husband. Later the operator phoned me again and I specifically asked him where I can find a router for that price because my own research showed the cheapest I will find is R1400. He once again told me I should look on Takealot I will find one there for R300-R400.
The fact that all calls are recorded for quality and training purposes it should not be difficult to find the operator telling me these lies. I want to please with immediate effect cancel all ties with MTN. False advertising is something very serious and something I despise. The operator said I do have ten days to cancel. Which I really hope is not lies as well. I hope we can resolve this matter quickly otherwise my review on hellopeter will certainly not be pleasant.
Look out for MTN they false advertise and have ZERO customer service skills!
