MTN in Breach of Contract Terms

On 4 Feb 2016 I visited MTN Sandton City and filled out a cancellation notice form for my contract which was expiring on 13 March 2016. This is in accordance to the T&C's which state you need to cancel a contract between 30 & 90 days before the end of the contract period. I then went back to MTN Sandton City on 22 March to check if everything had been processed re the cancellation and migration to prepaid. I was told that the retention's department responded to request sent on 4 Feb and declined the cancellation request as I sent it in more than 30 days before the expiry date (13 March) and they only accept notices exactly 30 days before expiry and that I needed to resubmit the cancellation (which means another 30 days notice from now) which Stella then resubmitted on 22 March. Off course this is now into the new contract month which means that i will now be charged for an additional month of the contract (~R800) given that it wasn't cancelled.

This is utterly ridiculous and MTN is in breach of their own contract terms
I want this resolved and my contract cancelled and number moved to prepaid immediately, not on the 22nd of April.
