MTN ******* subscriptions on Vodacom customer
I am a Vodacom customer, and yet I received an SMS from MTN thanking me for subscribing to mtnplay Candypop service at R3.03 per day.
I have not subscribed to this service! Vodacom assured me that I have no WASP subscriptions on my account. MTN call centre (083 135) refuse to help as they say they cannot access my number to see which subscriptions I have, because I am a Vodacom customer!
The opt out code in the SMS (*464*970#) does NOT work. The "STOP ALL" sms to 31050 does not seem to have any effect. HOW am I supposed to stop these ******* charges on my account if the MTN staff refuse to help and the ******* subscription does not reflect on my Vodacom WASP list?
