MTN ******* & ******** PORT-OUT requests.

July 25 2019 This is now the 4'th time that an ******* port-out request was issued from MTN, for my Vodacom number! Luckily, I managed to stop this port-out requests by declining it. Not from MTN's help, but from VODACOM. MTN don't have a fail-safe, or opt-out option. UNACCEPTABLE !!

July 24 2019 3'th ******* port. I wasn't aware of the request, when I finally look at my phone. 2 hours after the request, it was already too late. The ******* port-out took less than 2 hours to be finalized, but the reversal will take between 2 - 24hrs. How nice!

First time; 6 Novenber 2018. I was overseas when this happened. More than R3000 was ******. MTN didn't offer any form of compensation, but told me to contact Vodacom.

Second time; 29 May 2019. Luckily I was in South Africa to stop this porting of my number.

My questions: Why don't MTN ask to client to confirm the port-out request? Where are the RICA documentation?

ZERO assistance from MTN, I've even emailed the CEO of MTN!!! Probably the case of 'TOO BIG TO FAIL'.
Again, I ASK. How is it possible to port a number when the current client (of the mobile number) don't have the opportunity to consent..... ONLY IN AFRICA!! JUST SAD.
