MTN Ignoring ***** on My Account and Suspending My Service

In July, I discovered that someone had *****ulently opened multiple MTN contracts in my name, including two phones and additional data packages. MTN even acknowledged that these were *****ulent transactions and confirmed they could identify the individual responsible — yet refused to disclose this information to me.

Despite this, MTN incorrectly marked the case as “resolved” when it clearly was not. Since then, debit orders for these *****ulent contracts have continued to be deducted from my account. When I reversed these debit orders, MTN suspended my line, leaving me without access to my mobile data, even though I am still paying for my legitimate MTN data package.

I have been stuck in an endless back-and-forth with MTN, receiving no meaningful assistance to resolve the ***** or restore my services. This has caused me significant inconvenience, frustration, and financial loss. MTN’s handling of this matter has been unacceptable, showing a complete lack of urgency or accountability.
