MTN ignores Complaints

MTN have a new policy of simply ignoring complaints and requests for escalation. After my experience of having 600 minutes of airtime ******, I received a reply that my "Cap" had been exceeded. I have had a contract for 21 years and never heard of this. I have two reference numbers and one escalation reference and they have not had the courtesy to reply. I also complained on their Facebook page. No reply. I have decided to escalate by this post, and I have refered it to Wendy Knowler. I have also laid a complaint with the Ombudsman. People beware of dealing with this compant. Thy are arrogant in the extreme

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience experienced. We completely understand the frustration it has caused.

Kindly be advised that the carry over rules changed from 5 times carryover of unused inclusive airtime to 2 times carryover of unused inclusive airtime on the 1st of August 2016. All affected customers were provided with a 1 month notice prior to the changes coming into effect, an sms was sent on the 1st of July 2016 advising of the changes.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
